that work.

I build web apps, dashboards, games, and the infrastructure underneath. Oh, and the occasional robot. One person who can plan it, build it, and keep it running after launch.

Not sure which? Start with whichever feels easier.

What I build

Three kinds of work

Most projects are one of these. If yours is a mix, that’s normal. We’ll scope it together.

Product builds

Launch your product

Maybe it’s an idea on paper, maybe a prototype that stalled. I build the first release and get it in front of real customers.

Good fit if: You’d rather work directly with the person writing the code.

Backed by a live multi-tenant SaaS and a production cross-platform mobile app.

Internal systems

Tooling that fits your team

If your team runs on spreadsheets and copy-paste, mistakes slip in quietly. I turn that daily workflow into a tool your team can trust.

Good fit if: You’ve outgrown the spreadsheet and the workarounds holding it together.

Backed by custom ERP and workflow automation builds.

Connected infrastructure

Keep it running

For systems that can’t afford downtime: APIs, integrations, pipelines, and edge hardware. I find the weak spots and fix them before they cost you.

Good fit if: Downtime, broken integrations, or failing hardware directly impact your revenue.

Backed by edge-AI robotics work and a bare-metal infrastructure stack.

Offline-first mobile apps

SideQuest: A location-based mobile game

A location game only works if it keeps working when the signal doesn’t. SideQuest keeps players in sync across iOS and Android, and when someone loses service in an elevator or on a backroad, it queues their progress and catches up once they find a bar again.

I also made some calls I’m proud of here: it works offline by design, and there’s nothing in it that nickel-and-dimes the player.

How it works

From first call to live

  1. 1

    Discover

We get on a call and figure out what you actually need built, and just as important, what you don’t.

  2. 2

    Scope

You get a short fixed-cost plan covering what ships, what it costs, and when. Nothing gets built until you’ve approved it.

  3. 3

    Build

You see working software early and often, and you click around in it yourself instead of reading status updates.

  4. 4

    Ship

It goes live documented and fully yours, and you can run it without me. That’s the point.

Who you’re hiring

One person who builds it and keeps it running

Hey, y'all! I'm Matt. For years I built the parts of other people’s products that users never see but feel the second they break: the data models, the integrations, the jobs that run at 3am while everybody sleeps.

ZydeCode is me doing that work directly, for people who’d rather hire one experienced builder than stand up a team.

The same standard goes into everything I build. Beau keeps your data in your own house. PepperScale won’t fake a rating. I build things I’d want to live with, and your project gets that same judgment.
